The National Penitentiary Administration (ANP) denies rumors that have appeared in the public space that a prisoner uprising has broken out in Penitentiary No. 17 in Rezina. The situation is "stable, with no deviations from the detention regime and no events that would affect internal order," the institution states in a press release.

The National Penitentiary Administration stated on Friday evening that at the Rezina prison, where lifers are incarcerated, the situation is stable in the context of information circulated in the public space regarding alleged disturbances.
