In Vieuxville, in the province of Liège, at least seven children were admitted to hospital last night after a swim in the Ourthe. They are participants in a holiday camp run by Joetz, part of the Solidaris health insurance fund. The children are showing signs of intoxication, reports RTL, and this has been confirmed to VRT NWS. It is suspected to be a salmonella infection. Swimming in the Ourthe is currently advised against.
