Participants in a consultation on the treatment of children and adolescents with obesity and the establishment of a regional center in the northeast of the country highlighted the incomplete network of health promotion centers and the shortage of personnel, especially pediatricians. They consider it necessary to ensure a comparable level of accessibility to the treatment of childhood and adolescent obesity.
