Askew convicted, sentenced in trial that almost didn’t happen
A Shelby County jury last week found Christopher Lance Askew, 41, guilty on four charges with sentences ranging up to 99 years, according to Shelby County District Attorney Karren Price. Askew received 25 years for felon in possession of a firearm, 50 years and 99 years on drug charges and 70 years for DWI 3rd or more.
