The cyclists at the Tour de France used the second day off to recover before the final week, which brings the most demanding mountain stages in the Alps. While leading cyclist Tadej Pogačar managed to escape media obligations on the first day off, this time he took time for a press conference, at which he drew a line under the first weeks of the Tour and added that he had not yet thought about plans for the second part of the season.
