Raiders' Ashton Jeanty Questionable with Ankle and Foot Injuries for Patriots Game
Jeanty has 264 rushing yards and 169 receiving yards through four games, and rookie Mike Washington Jr. could take more snaps if he sits.
- Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty is questionable for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots, dealing with ankle and foot injuries after being added to the injury report on Thursday.
- Through four games, Jeanty has recorded 264 rushing yards and 169 receiving yards, making him central to the Raiders' early success; the ankle injury has lingered since August training camp.
- If Jeanty misses time, fourth-round rookie Mike Washington Jr. is prepared to take over; the 228-pound Arkansas product has rushed for 120 yards on 24 carries, averaging 5.0 yards per carry.
- Head coach Klint Kubiak said Friday that Jeanty "is going to do his best to go," as the 3-1 Raiders prepare for Sunday's game in Foxborough following their Week 4 loss to Kansas City.
- Veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins leads the NFL with 11 touchdown passes, yet the Raiders' rushing attack averages just 3.13 yards per carry, the worst in the league, adding pressure on the backfield.
