Month-long Red Line disruption starts Tuesday

The commute between JFK/UMass and Mattapan on the Red Line is about to get wonky as month-long maintenance work begins.

The service in the Ashmont branch of the MBTA Red Line will be suspended in April for works, according to the T. The free shuttle bus service will replace the Red Line service between JFK/UMASS and Ashmont from 1 to 9 April. Subsequently, from 10 to 30 April, shuttle trains will serve between stops.
