Turkish defense giant Aselsan inks $1.68B air defense systems contract with defense industry authority
Agreement with Türkiye’s Defense Industries Secretariat to expand serial production capacity under existing air defense programs, including Steel Dome system
Turkey has taken a new step to strengthen its multi-layered air defense architecture within the scope of its STEEL DOME vision. Additional serial production contracts were signed for the HİSAR-A and HİSAR-O systems, with the value of the agreement with ASELSAN announced as 1 billion 470 million 500 thousand euros.
A new contract worth 1 billion 470 million 500 thousand euros has been signed between ASELSAN and the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey's Defence Industries Directorate, in addition to the ongoing serial production projects of the Steel Dome air defense system.
ASELSAN has signed a new contract worth approximately 1.5 billion euros with the Presidency of the Defense Industry for air defense systems. The agreement, within the scope of the multi-layered STEEL DOME system, will strengthen Turkey's air defense capabilities.
