Asda Announces Major Shake-up Affecting 3,500 Workers Nationwide
Asda, Ask Property and Cash And Carry Windows each seek changes to stores and offices, with council officers reviewing three Mansfield proposals.

- GMB organiser Rachelle Wilkins said outsourcing companies have a "proven track record of slashing pay, terms, conditions and even jobs as soon as they have their feet under the table." She urged Asda to halt the process until consultations finish.
- Ask Property seeks to convert the first floor above its Stockwell Gate office into a flat, while Cash And Carry Windows requested refurbishment at its Hermitage Lane facility.
- Asda also lodged a proposal for its Old Mill Lane store in Mansfield to create a canopy for seasonal goods, which would operate within the store's existing opening hours.
