Artist Bud Menchaca recently added the black-eyed Susan, dahlia and purple prairie clover to the “Lampasas Megaflora” mural on the 130-year-old building that houses Lampasas Lawyer PLLC. These native wildflowers join the Texas bluebonnet and Mexican blanket already on the mural, as well as an American bumblebee and an Eastern swallowtail butterfly that he painted. Building owner Jackie Baltrun was inspired by her grandmother’s love of nature to commission the artwork.
