Artesia’s season ends with loss to Notre Dame in baseball quarterfinals

LAKEWOOD – The Artesia baseball team got off to a strong start Friday by taking a two-run lead in the first inning against Notre Dame High of Riverside in the CIF-SS Division 7 quarterfinals. That lead, though, didn’t make it past the third inning. The Titans scored seven runs in the top of the third and went on to beat Artesia 8-2.
