AI Protection Co Artemis Security Raises $70m
The startup’s platform detects and can automatically stop AI-driven attacks in real time as enterprise demand accelerates.
- On Wednesday, Israeli startup Artemis Security emerged from stealth with $70 million in seed and Series A financing led by Felicis, First Round Capital, and Brightmind.
- CEO Shachar Hirshberg and CTO Dan Shiebler founded the firm six months ago after identifying that traditional security tools cannot match the speed of AI-driven attacks occurring within minutes.
- Using a proprietary data model, Artemis continuously monitors enterprise activity to learn what "normal" looks like for an organization, automatically locking hacked accounts before threats can spread.
- The platform is already deployed at companies including Mercury, Wix, and Lemonade, with the startup expecting multimillion dollars in ARR before the end of 2026.
- Felicis partner Jake Storm described the industry as shifting toward a centralized "brain" for security operations, positioning Artemis as a next-generation alternative to legacy systems like Splunk.
