Arsenal Found in Suburban Drug House
On Tuesday, NSW Police Taskforce Falcon detectives raided an alleged safe house in Glenfield, seizing grenades, semi-automatic assault rifles, and quantities of cannabis and cocaine during a firearm prohibition order compliance check.
Taskforce Falcon, a specialized unit that investigates organised crime, targeted the Glenfield home while executing the compliance check at approximately 9am on Tuesday morning.
Officers discovered six grenades, three semi-automatic assault rifles, four shotguns, a pistol, and more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition, alongside 15 kilograms of cannabis and 6kg of cocaine.
A 26-year-old man arrested at the address was denied bail after being charged with 27 offences, while a woman of the same age was granted bail until her court appearance on August 27.
Separately, Prince George RCMP officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a Quinn Street business on July 24, seizing firearms, 80 grams of suspected cocaine, and nearly $10,000 in cash.
