Due to drought, the use of drinking water for non-essential purposes is prohibited in 16 municipalities in northeastern Slovenia.
In order to ensure a reliable supply of drinking water in the current drought conditions, the use of drinking water from the public water supply system for all non-essential purposes has been banned throughout the entire area of operation of Maribor Waterworks. The measure is valid until further notice in all 16 municipalities in northeastern Slovenia covered by Maribor Waterworks. Where else in the country is this measure still necessary?
