The man was arrested by the PSP while trying to enter Portugal by Terminal 1, after having taken a flight from Telavive, the capital of Israel. The 62-year-old citizen had an international arrest warrant, disseminated through Interpol.
A 62-year-old man, wanted by Interpol on suspicion of trying to kill a person with three shots in 2013, was detained by PSP at Lisbon airport. The citizen, who came from Israel, was travelling with an identity associated with an alias in the international register.
