A strong intervention by Brazzaville's intelligence services disorganized the grand-show against the CFA Franc. In the same vein, Kemi Seba, a leading Pan-African activist, was arrested by security officers and was accompanied by several members of his Pan-African Emergency movement, including Hery Djehuty and Fortifi Lushima.
