A temporary camping area was opened in Arolla (VS), the closure of which was ordered in mid-July by the state of Valais because of the threat of natural hazards. Parking places are available for campers in the parking lot of the hotel-restaurant de la Tza, located next to the road leading to the station.

In mid-July, the Valais Council of State ordered the closure of the Arolla campsite due to threats of natural hazards.
