Armenia, EU launch consultations on defense and security cooperation

The head of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ararat Mirzoyan, reported on 30 June that Armenia and the European Union had begun discussions on defence cooperation. Senator Andrei Klimov suggested in a conversation with Lenta.ru that it might be difficult for Yerevan to combine cooperation with different alliances at the same time.
