Arm posted record first-quarter revenue as royalty growth jumped 22% and licensing revenue rose 23%, while second-quarter guidance topped analyst estimates.
- Arm reported quarterly revenue of $1.29 billion, surpassing the $1.26 billion estimate, with adjusted EPS of 45 cents beating analyst expectations by 12.5% in the first quarter.
- Royalty revenue grew 22% to $715 million with data center royalties more than doubling, while Licensing revenue reached $574 million, up 23% year over year, driving the outperformance.
- "Arm delivered a record first quarter, reflecting strong execution across our business and growing demand for the Arm compute platform," said CEO Rene Haas, citing expansion across cloud infrastructure and the physical world.
- In Wednesday's extended trading, Arm stock declined 0.52% to $223.23, while executives Ian Thornton, Vice President of Investor Relations, and Chief Financial Officer Jason Child discussed the results.
- Second quarter adjusted EPS is projected between 43 cents and 51 cents, with revenue expected to range from $1.33 billion to $1.48 billion, according to company guidance from Statement 13.
