Arizona group wants kids to stay in school until they’re 18

The proposal aims to keep students in class longer and cites research showing CTE and dual enrollment can improve graduation and college enrollment rates.

The Arizona School Boards Association wants to ensure that students spend as much time as possible in the classroom, proposing that the state raise the compulsory attendance age to 18.
