Ariana Grande Reveals Injury Will Force a Change for Final Tour Shows
Grande said she may wear cozy footwear for the final shows after a deep cut left her bandaged and recovering.
Ariana Grande revealed on Monday she will perform in "cozy footwear" at London's O2 Arena for her final two Eternal Sunshine Tour shows, citing a minor foot injury requiring bandaging.
The Grammy-winner clarified the injury is not a sprain or muscular, but "just a deep cut," reassuring fans she is "on the mend" despite possible difficulty putting weight on the foot.
Beginning in June, the Eternal Sunshine Tour included more than 30 shows in North America before Grande's current string of 10 total performances at the London Arena.
Following the tour, Grande withdrew from the upcoming London revival of Stephen Sondheim's The Park With George, where she was set to appear opposite Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey.
After the final show on Tuesday, Grande plans to step back from public-facing work, citing "endless, ongoing public scrutiny" regarding her health and appearance as her reason for the hiatus.
