Unexpected Alliance Within the Ruling Majority: Hrebak and Jandroković Join Forces Against Plenković
The problem of waste, not only hazardous waste but also ordinary, municipal waste, is so big in Croatia that it provoked a very serious discussion at yesterday's coalition meeting.
At a meeting of coalition partners, there was allegedly a conflict between Jandroković and Plenković over the proposal to dispose of waste from Varaždin and Samobor and the proposal to end part of it in Bjelovar.
Namely, Vučković asked the City of Bjelovar to accept excess mixed municipal waste from Varaždin, arguing that the Bjelovar landfill has the capacity for that.
