The Argonaut Jr. was a prototype submarine constructed in 1894 by Simon Lake and launched in 1895 in the Atlantic Highlands harbor of New Jersey. The replica was built in 1994 and sits next to the Harbor Park. The submarine was made from wood and ran along the bottom of Sandy Hook Bay on three wheels cranked by hand.
