Wyomissing senior Alexis Hardy won her heat and had the fourth fastest time overall in the girls 2A 100-meter dash today to advance to Saturday’s final at the PIAA Track and Field Championships at Shippensburg University. WADENA — Violette Metz won the 200-meter dash and the 300 hurdles for the Pillager girls as they finished second as a team at the Subsection 22, Section 6-1A meet Thursday, May 22. Pillager’s Makenna Camacho won the 100 hurdles and the 4x100 relay team also placed first. Audrey Brownell won the 1600 and 3200 runs for the Staples-Motley girls. Regional track meets have come and gone, and lots of local boys athletes punched their tickets to the upcoming state track championships on May 31. Division 1 meets are at East Kentwood, D2 is at Hamilton HS, D3 is at Kent City HS and D4 is at Hudsonville HS/Baldwin MS.
