Area athletes advance to state track and field championships

North Clark County and south Cowlitz County high school track and field athletes qualified for the state championships.  The state championships for 2A, 3A and 4A will begin Thursday, May 28, and continue through Saturday, May 30, at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma.  The state championships for 1B, 2B and 1A will begin Thursday, May 28, and continue through Saturday, May 30 at Zaepfel Stadium in Yakima.  List of area qualifiers:  4A Battle Gr…
