The national Government is moving forward with the compulsive re-categorization of the mono-tribute through the cross-checking of virtual wallet data.

The Agency for Recovery and Customs Control (ARCA) began to recategorize “of its own accord” monotributistas based on transactions recorded in virtual wallets during 2024 and 2025. If the accredited revenues exceed the declared amounts, the taxpayer is located on a higher scale automatically. The process was activated after the deadline of voluntary recategorization, which closed on February 5.
