Applications open for Pitkin County’s Low-Income Property Tax Relief Program

Pitkin County is now accepting applications for a tax relief program that could provide up to $2,000 to homeowners who have seen property taxes rise since 2023. The Low-Income Property Tax Relief Program is open to homeowners of all ages who own a free-market, non-deed-restricted home and have experienced increased property taxes from 2023 to 2025, according to a county release.
