While we are waiting for the new Macbook Pro with M5 chip, Apple reportedly is preparing a brand new laptop that could be launched within a few weeks. According to Mark Gurman's current power-on newsletter, the long-running cheap Macbook is expected to "be released in March," with a price that doesn't match its design. Gurman reports that the new laptop "will cost significantly less than $1,000, but will not be made of cheap plastic.
