Appalachians come from a long line of farmers with calloused hands and centuries of knowledge of the land. That line stretches down the hills and across the hollers, through garden rows and hard-earned harvests. It winds through generations who raised beans, corn and children with equal devotion. But that line doesn’t start here, it stretches farther than these mountains and laid the foundation for the place we call home today.
