A group of 240 asylum seekers is being temporarily accommodated in a vacant school building in Apeldoorn. The municipality is responding to a call from Minister for Asylum Affairs Bart van den Brink (CDA) to quickly arrange additional reception places. He made this appeal because existing locations are overcrowded and people are at risk of ending up on the streets.
