The Minister of Energy believes that the 28 April Iberian apang would have been less than an hour if the peninsula was less isolated. In an interview with the Spanish newspaper El País, Maria da Graça Carvalho defended the need to pressure France to put pressure on the increase in interlinkages, but believes that this country does not have this interest because it has "a lot of nuclear energy".
