Anzac Day Test Confirmed, Bledisloe Cup to Change
On Sunday, Rugby Australia and New Zealand Rugby confirmed that Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium will host Bledisloe Cup Tests on Anzac Day in 2027, 2029, and 2031.
Negotiations for the fixture previously appeared to collapse in 2025, but the deal was revived late last year under new NZR management, fulfilling a long-term vision for RA.
This Anzac Day fixture expands the Bledisloe Cup to a three-match series in those years, a format RA believes will attract millions of viewers across both nations.
The 2027 event will likely feature a clash between the Wallaroos and Black Ferns, while the impact on the Super Rugby Pacific season remains under review.
Future schedules leave 2028 and 2030 open, providing scope for New Zealand to host Anzac Day games despite Brisbane securing the 2027, 2029, and 2031 dates.
