Malaysian feared missing after ferry capsizes in Bali Strait
JAKARTA: The Embassy of Malaysia in Jakarta has contacted Indonesia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding a Malaysian citizen feared to be among the victims still missing in the passenger ferry incident, KMP Tunu Pratama Jaya, which capsized in the Bali Strait late Wednesday night.


The search operation was interrupted on Friday night due to visibility problems. Six people were confirmed dead on Friday, including a five-year-old child.

A passenger ferry carrying 65 people sank in the Bali Strait at around 11:35 pm local time on Wednesday. According to the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, no Chinese nationals have been involved in the incident so far, according to the CCTV news.
