Anwar calls urgent meeting tomorrow to address higher electricity bills
The government will review mitigation steps as about 80% of domestic users remain protected from higher rates, Anwar said.

- The meeting will include the Energy Transition and Water Transformation Ministry, the Energy Commission, Tenaga Nasional Berhad, and the Finance Ministry to review immediate mitigation measures.
- Upon his return from India and the Maldives, Anwar emphasized that the MADANI government will maintain targeted subsidies fairly, with the people's interests and well-being remaining the priority.
