For more than two months, demonstrators have been camped out in Linz's Berschlösslpark to protest the large-scale felling of old trees for the Linz West Ring Road (A26). They announced at a press conference on site on Thursday that the camp will remain occupied over Christmas. Their hope: that the West Ring Road will become "a second Zwentendorf."
