Anti-immigrant speaker blocked from entering Canada in time for Hamilton event
Austrian anti-immigrant speaker Martin Sellner was not granted electronic travel authorization to enter Canada in time for a nationalist conference in Hamilton.
The Dominion Society, hosting the conference, advocates for remigration, aiming to deport millions of immigrants and strip permanent residency from over two million people.
Jewish group B'nai Brith Canada urged the Canadian government to deny Sellner entry, citing his past convictions and associations with neo-Nazi and extremist rhetoric.
Hamilton Police are aware the Dominion Society is seeking venues for the event and have advised them to consider the event's impact on the community.
