At the center of Berlin's Pariser Platz, home to the Brandenburg Gate and meters away from the German Parliament, stands a large anti-drone net, there to highlight just how fragile Ukraine's air defenses can be.
Brandenburg Gate, one of Germany's most well-known national symbols, was ‘covered for months by an anti-drone net, in an action designed to draw attention to Ukraine's vulnerability to air attacks.
On the occasion of Ukraine's 35th anniversary of independence, activists set up an extensive anti-drones net on Monday in the heart of Berlin, a way for them to show Europeans the rudimentary protections that have become familiar to millions of Ukrainians in the face of Russian attacks.
