In the years following the cataclysmic destruction of his people the Nephites(1), Moroni the son of Mormon wandered where he could to avoid his enemies, the victorious but vicious Lamanites(1). He recorded the loss of faith which preceded the fall of his people, how they forgot about God until their wickedness became so great that even the three disciples of Jesus who had been permitted to tarry until He comes again were taken away from them.
