Latvian Defense Minister Raivis Melnis highlighted the contribution of Turkish F-16s deployed to the country to support NATO's air defense operations, and thanked Türkiye for its support in strengthening the security of its airspace.
Latvian Defense Minister Raivis Melnis thanked Türkiye for its contribution to the security of his country's airspace. According to the statement, while Melnis was meeting with Turkish Air Force personnel in Lielvarde, Turkish F-16s were in Latvia for NATO air defense purposes.
