A few years ago, I wrote that emojis were not as popular as they once were. The GenZ generation thought emojis were uncool. Still, this hasn’t stopped the introduction each year of new emojis to use with your texting.

The emoji of paella, considered the first truly Spanish, has a moving history behind it.
