Tata Steel is once again facing a fine because the steel company emits excessive amounts of harmful substances. The North Sea Canal Area Environment Agency (OD NZKG) has imposed a so-called penalty payment order on Tata Steel. The company has until April 1 of next year to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions to below the standard. If it fails to do so, fines will follow that could amount to up to 1 million euros.
