Second dolphin washes ashore in Frisian village of Wierum in days
A second dolphin washed ashore near the Frisian village of Wierum on Friday, just days after another dolphin was found at the same location. Walkers discovered the animal hundreds of meters out on the mudflats at low tide. By the time animal rescue personnel arrived, the dolphin had already died, Hart van Nederland reported.
For the second time in three days, a dolphin has washed ashore on the coast of Wierum, Friesland. Although the animal was found alive three days ago, today's dolphin had already died. These dolphins are not normally found in the Wadden Sea.
