Bear Mother Hurts Man on Company Premises in Slovakia

A 49-year-old man was injured in a bear attack in the cadastral area of the municipality of Sučany in the Martin district in northern Slovakia on Saturday. The man was taken to hospital.

Another bear attack has occurred in Slovakia. Near Martin in the central part of the country, a 49-year-old man was injured after being attacked on the premises of a company.

The animal is currently being searched for.

A brown bear hit a man in Slovakia and seriously injured her. Environmental Secretary Filip Kuffa stated on Facebook that the bear moved along with two young animals on the site of a construction company in the municipality of Sucany when the man got in her way. The 49-year-old had suffered injuries in several places of the body and had been taken to a clinic.
