Since spring, the inhabitants of a neighbourhood near Annecy say they have lived an infernal summer. Insults, garbage, night nuisances around the land occupied by several communities of Travellers.
Between the beginning of May and mid-September, the Pilleuse site in Seynod served as a reception area for Travellers. During this period, the residents of the site had to deal with "a multitude of incivities and inconveniences", according to their expression. Today, they are not yet fully relieved because a last group – which should have left the site on 15 September – is still unlawfully there.
Local residents are at the end of their nerves, in Haute-Savoie, as a result of incivilities committed by Travellers.
