BROOKINGS — A strong showing from Mitchell High School girls golfer Anna Eliason helped the Kernels place high on the leaderboard on Thursday. Eliason fired a 5-over 77 en route to an individual runner-up finish as Mitchell placed second as a team at the Brookings Invitational at Brookings Country Club, finishing with a final team score of 326.
