Threatening letters, vandalism and unwanted visits: Dutch farmers are increasingly confronted with intimidation by animal rights activists. This is according to LTO Nederland, the interest group for farmers. A month ago, LTO opened a reporting center to gain a better picture of the threats farmers face. In the first month, 25 serious reports were received, ranging from graffiti and anonymous threatening letters to being cornered on the road.
