Animal cruelty trial begins Monday

Jury selection begins at 9 a.m. Monday in Lafayette County Circuit Court for the trial of Terry E. Pegues, who faces 20 animal cruelty charges stemming from the discovery of dead and malnourished dogs on his County Road 418 property in August 2024.
