Andrzej Wielowieyski has died, according to the editorial staff of Więź, with which the anti-communist oppositionist, politician, and lawyer was associated for many years. During his time there, he advised Lech Wałęsa and was also an expert for the Inter-Enterprise Strike Committee at the Gdańsk Shipyard and the National Commission of the Solidarity trade union. Wielowieyski died at the age of 98.
