SCOOBY-DOO: ORIGINS Adds Andre 3000 to Its Cast
André 3000 and Cathy Moriarty will recur in the live-action series, which is filming now and set for a 2027 global release, Netflix said.

- The pair joins an ensemble including Mckenna Grace as Daphne Blake, Tanner Hagen as Shaggy Rogers, Abby Ryder Fortson as Velma Dinkley, and Maxwell Jenkins as Fred Jones forming the Mystery Inc. gang.
- This casting marks a return for Benjamin, who collaborated on the 2002 Scooby-Doo film soundtrack with the track "Land of a Million Drums" alongside OutKast members more than 20 years ago.
- Moriarty, an Oscar-nominated actress for her role in Raging Bull, brings extensive experience to the series after recently appearing in guest-starring roles on Will Trent and Elsbeth.
- Showrunners Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg are leading the modern reimagining produced by Warner Bros. Television and Berlanti Productions, with executive producer Greg Berlanti overseeing the project.
