The Trial of Ruslan Sidiki in Ryazan

The military court in the western Russian city of Ryazan has decided that convicted Ruslan Sidiki will serve nine years of his sentence in prison and the rest in a maximum-security camp.

Prosecutor Boris Matorin asked in the debate that Ruslan Sidiki be sentenced to 30 years in a high-security colony.

The Second Western District Military Court sentenced Ruslan Sidiki, a Russian and Italian citizen, to 29 years' imprisonment, found guilty of blowing up railway tracks under Ryazanya and attacking the military airfield of Digilevo. He will spend the first nine years in prison, the rest of his sentence in a maximum security colony, reports the UK.

The third explosion on the railway was "unable to carry out" because the "anarchist" was detained, said the Russian Investigation Committee.
